Production lab

MARCH 2023        In my first year, I had a period called “the labs.” In this period we learned different hard skills of the fashion industry. I had one week for each lab, which meant little time and high pressure. Luckily I perform well under these circumstances.

Surprisingly, one of my favorites was a more business, and not a branding-related lab, production. For this assignment, I made a style sheet, a technical specification, how to measure, a bill of material, and a lay plan.
Creating a tech pack taught me the technical aspects of garment production, including precise specifications and construction details.
