Barbaro, a subbrand by Diesel


DECEMBER 2023        Halfway through my third semester, I created Barbaro with two classmates. Barbaro is a subbrand of Diesel, which focuses on extreme sports and getting consumers out of their comfort zone.
This project taught me the importance of consistent visual identity and brand messaging across all platforms. It also provides hands-on experience in defining and communicating a brand's core values, style guidelines, and target audience effectively.

The concept:
This brand is for the adventurous millennials who are interested in extreme sports but just need a little push in the right direction. Combine functionality with fashion, and you get Barbaro. With a focus on outerwear and hiking in extreme places, such as volcanoes and stormy areas. The outerwear brand inspires and stimulates, stepping out of its comfort zone all the time since 2023.
